Heavy traffic in Chalus and Haraz/ Road Police: Moving on the dirt shoulder of the road is equal to impounding!

Sardar Hasan Momeni, head of the country’s road police, in an interview with the police reporter of Fars news agency, said about the latest weather and traffic conditions of the country’s transportation axes: Currently, the traffic in the northern axes of the country, including Chalus and Haraz, is very heavy.

The head of the country’s road police stated: We are witnessing semi-heavy traffic on the Qazvin-Rasht freeway in the area of Manjil and Rudbar, and in Firouzkoh, there is a large and smooth flow of passengers.
He stated that movement on the dirt shoulder of the road is prohibited and the traffic police will deal with the violators without mercy and impound the cars by the hour. And consider the duration of your trip much more and drive in compliance with the rules and regulations.
Sardar Momeni noted: At present, the weather conditions in the country’s transportation routes are normal and smooth, and no rain has been reported.
In response to another question from Fars regarding how long the Chalus road will be one-way, he said: until the traffic load is relieved and the traffic situation normalizes, the restrictions imposed on the Chalus road will continue.
