Hojjatoleslam Mo’meni: Choosing a spouse should not be based on emotions / Young people should marry believing in God

According to the Fars news agency from Qom, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims, Seyyed Hossein Momeni tonight at the birthday dinner of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) which was held in the nave of Imam Khomeini (PBUH), the holy shrine of Our Lady of Dignity, noting that Hazrat Khadijeh (PBUH) to reach Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) gave up all his possessions, stating: He believed in divine promises and thought about the world of the hereafter beyond this world.

The professor of the seminary of Qom mentioned the high position of his parents according to the narrations and said: If a girl or a boy violates the dignity of his parents in order to reach the other side, life with him will not be good and blessed and peace in life with him Will not be realized.

He considered family as one of the criteria for marriage and said: When choosing a spouse, one should pay attention to the family in which the other party grew up and how the basis of his behavior and thoughts is formed.

Mo’meni emphasized that young people in marriage should not seek emotional choices, stating: “By choosing wisely and with the thought and consultation of elders, a successful life can be achieved.”

He said: “Although families should not impose their choice on their children, but children should also benefit from their family in choosing a spouse.”

The education expert of the Holy Shrine of Lady of Dignity, referring to the increase in economic problems and high prices, said: God Almighty has commanded marriage and is its main provider, so young people should also rely on and believe in divine promises to get married.
