Holding the first festival of Yazd cultural goods and products simultaneously with the seventh national festival of turquoise award

According to Aria Heritage, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Yazd Province, Dehghan Mehrjerdi announced the news on Thursday, January 23rd: “This festival will be held by the General Directorate of Islamic Culture and Guidance in cooperation with the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Industries.”

He added: “The cultural products section of the festival includes local and applied handicrafts (design and production, shoes and clothes, using traditional hand-woven fabrics), traditional textile weaving (cashmere weaving, work weaving, property weaving, fine weaving, etc.) and carpet weaving.” (Xylobafi, kilim weaving, mat weaving, etc.) Traditional embroidery (embroidery, decorative stitching, patchwork, etc.) Pottery and ceramics, traditional ornaments, Iranian-Islamic decorative arts, and wooden arts, puppetry (with a narrative effect and suitable for the region). »
Dehghan Mehrjerdi stated that the deadline for submitting works to the secretariat of the festival is January 16 and continued: “The evaluation and judging of the works will be done on January 20, and the closing of this festival is February 27.”
The first to third members of the festival will be awarded cash prizes, a plaque and a statue of the festival.
