Honor unveiled the third generation of its foldable phones called Magic V2. Magic V2 is the thinnest folding phone in the world, which is only 9.9 mm thick when closed and 4.7 mm thick when open. The weight of this smartphone is 231 grams.
Before the introduction of this device, Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 was the thinnest folding phone in the world, which was 11.2 mm thick when closed and weighed 262 grams.

For this device, an integrated hinge mechanism without gears is used, for which Honor went to 3D printed titanium material. The closing mechanism of this phone uses special short screws.
