Hosseini: The priority of the 13th government is to support domestic production

According to IRNA’s political correspondent, Seyed Mohammad Hosseini, on Saturday, during a visit to the Mihan Industrial Complex and production lines, emphasized the role of this unit in self-sufficiency and liberation from the country’s dependence on dairy imports.

During the visit, the Vice President for Parliamentary Affairs said: “One of the main programs of the government is to support domestic production and remove obstacles to the prosperity of production, as well as create employment and strengthen large-scale exports to countries in the region.”

Referring to the government’s serious determination to support domestic production, Hosseini said: “The 13th government is a supporter of domestic producers in all areas of industry and development.”

“Self-sufficiency in some dairy products in the country, such as Korea and the need for no imports, is valuable,” he said. Iran, which used to import some dairy products in previous years, has now gained export potential, which is a sign of the determination of domestic producers.

In this visit, the managers and experts of Mihan Industrial Group presented a report on the history of the activity and position of this unit in the production of various dairy products and meeting the basic food needs of the country.

During the visit, Hosseini visited the production lines of the Old Homeland Unit, the Panda Unit as the largest ice cream production site in the country and the Middle East, and the Dairy City Production Complex as the largest dairy unit in the country.

Mihan Industrial Group, with numerous units active in various fields, has created employment for more than 26,300 people, which will increase in the near future with the expansion of capacity and the establishment of new production units.
