How did the dealers get short shrift from the Arbaeen currency market this year?

In an interview with Iran Economist, Seyed Kamal Seyed Ali said: This year, for the first time, the procedures for receiving Arbaeen currency were simpler than in the past, and a greater share of services was provided by non-attendance systems.

He added: One of the most important benefits of receiving Arbaeen currency this year was the ease of work, which pilgrims were able to easily obtain the currency they needed to travel to Iraq in many cities of the country.

Seyed Ali called the non-payment of Arbaeen currency in dollars as one of the important and positive actions of the government and the central bank and said: apart from the discussion of dollarization in the process of allocating currency for this year’s Arbaeen ceremony, we should also mention other positive aspects of paying currency in dinars, which It eliminated many problems, including converting currency from dollars to dinars and going to Iranian or Iraqi exchanges. Certainly, Arbaeen travelers did not have to pay the exchange fee to convert dollars to dinars, and this benefited the pilgrims.

The former foreign exchange deputy of Central Bank continued: Another positive effect of this trend was the removal of brokers and middlemen from the foreign exchange market. This issue proved that the more orderly and legal the currency allocation process is, it will help the peace and stability of the currency market, and it will definitely not give profit-seeking people a chance to abuse it.

He added: The supply of Arbaeen currency by 6 banks of the country in the form of 1790 urban and rural branches was an effective measure. According to the surveys, the method of paying Arbaeen currency in 1402 made pilgrims feel comfortable and satisfied, and I hope that this trend will continue in similar cases and next year as well. To maintain the stability and peace of the currency market.
