The iPhone 13 Pro features a sturdy ceramic shield display, a stainless steel frame, and a glass back panel. According to Apple, this display, developed by Corning, has a much higher resistance than previous versions, but how does it perform against knives and hammers?

While resistance and fall tests usually follow the same process, as you can see in the video above, the TechRax YouTube channel has taken a different approach and stabbed the Cupertino phone with a knife and hammer. So we are no longer faced with falling from a certain height and we see strong hammer blows to the body of the iPhone 13 Pro.

Of course, such a video does not show the situation of many people in the real world, and perhaps very few people, depending on their working conditions, may experience such a situation. However, this video could well challenge the Cupertino phone’s resilience.

At the beginning of the video, after the knife, we are faced with gentle hammer blows that have little effect on the screen of the device. These blows do not even leave a scratch on the screen of the iPhone 13 Pro. But over time, the blows become stronger, and TechRax strikes the device’s display with more energy.

Shortly after the blows hit the iPhone 13 Pro, the screen cracked and with one more hit, the screen stopped working. Next to the display, the back panel also breaks without a direct impact, which is not surprising given the pressure of the blows.

Although the iPhone 13 Pro Max will eventually be severely damaged by hammer blows, it will show great resilience and may have been replaced by another flagship phone.
