One way to clean wallpaper is to dissolve about two teaspoons of dishwashing liquid in a bowl of warm water. Use a suitable detergent to prevent the wallpaper from staining with colored detergents. Soak a towel or sponge in the solution and squeeze the excess water into a bucket of water.

First, test the solution in a spot on the wall that is not easily visible. If the wallpaper is not damaged, start the cleaning process. Do the cleaning with up and down movements, vertically and in a circular motion.

Also, take a bucket of water and a clean towel to clean the wallpaper, and wash the wallpaper with clean water. Do not use too much water. You do not want to end up with a damp wall.
