I have no income except my late wife’s pension/ watching some series is painful

The veteran actor of cinema and television talked about his work and life these days and raised some complaints.

Charso Press: “Mahosh Vaghari” is a veteran actor of cinema and television, who had a prominent presence on television and the silver screen of cinema in the seventies and eighties. His wife “Mohsen Ghazi Moradi” was also one of the powerful actors of cinema and television who died in April 1400 after a long period of illness.

During those years, Mahosh Vaghari was selflessly present with his sick wife and nursed her. Waghari has played roles in series such as “Hamesran”, “Zir Bazarche”, “Sataish”, “Rozgar Javani” and films such as “Sara”, “Nar and Ni”, “Soughat Farang” and “Bifafa” for cinema and television audiences. Known.

Pointing out that he spends most of his time at home, Vaghari added: “In recent months, I did not have any special offer to play.” There were one or two offers, they were short roles, for some of which I had to go to the city, which was neither time- nor money-wise, and I rejected them right away. I think that even though more than a year and a half has passed since my wife’s death, I still haven’t been able to adapt myself to the new situation, and not working has caused me to not be in good mental condition.

** I only get my late wife’s salary

He also mentioned the livelihood these days and added: The late Ghazi Moradi was a retired educationist and my current income comes from his retirement pension. It is natural that with these heavy expenses, this figure does not answer life; So I can’t stay idle unless a worthwhile game is offered. Contrary to popular belief, apart from my wife’s pension, I do not receive any other salary from the cinema house, the General Directorate of Performing Arts or television.

This veteran actor of cinema and television said: When Mr. Ghazimoradi was suffering from illness, I pursued membership in the art credit fund, which said that they should introduce you to the cinema house. When I visited there, they asked me to send them a sample of my work in cinema and television on a CD. In those days, I was so busy with my wife’s illness that I neither had the time nor the patience to collect these documents. I also said many times that most of these works are available at the movie theater and can even be found on the Internet. In the end, our membership was not completed and we were deprived of the possible facilities of this fund.

** Serials that are painful to follow

Waqari, who has played a role in many memorable series of recent decades, answered the question whether he watches TV series these nights or not and said: Honestly, I don’t really feel like watching TV, sometimes I watch the series “Cold Fire” and Sometimes I also watch old series or movies that are broadcasted on iFilm and Show channels. I also saw a few episodes of a satirical series that was aired on TV recently, which did not touch my heart at all, and I felt that watching it was more of an insult to the audience and a source of torment.

He added: TV series in the 70s and 80s were in a better quality; In those days, if I was offered short roles and I didn’t accept them for any reason, I would be very heartbroken after the series aired, but that’s not the case now. After being offered a job, you feel like you might be lucky you didn’t take the job. I don’t know why this has happened to so many new TV jobs. Except for a few works, many roles are completely repetitive and do not have an attractive script.
