I will make a professor / your face romance free of plastic surgery

Fars news; Atieh Akbari: Without compliments from Professor “Abdul Jalil Sheriff Hormozi”; We ask you, you are the number one man in Iran plastic surgery, how is your life? People’s perception of a plastic surgeon; A luxury office is astronomical income and luxury living. Where are you these days?

Professor Sheriff’s answer is audible; When he speaks of love, of blessing, of sustenance; “This is not news in my life. I live in the same house I bought 20 years ago. I still could not change it. But now that I am here, I feel needless of the world and I have to listen to my heart. Remember that feeling needless is different from having property, and one can feel needless at the same time.

Professor Sheriff; Founder of the Ointment and Doctor Charity Group

Not that I am indifferent to the world; Not. I work one and a half days a week in private, three and a half days on campus. But God has given me so much sustenance and blessing that you will not believe, He has given me as much money as I can. The most beautiful moments of my life are hugging rural children who have no shelter; No refuge … believe me. I am sending you the photos to see how a rural child lived to the age of 10 with a strange appearance with deep cleft lip and palate. “Then God gives me the power to change a person’s destiny with expertise. In essence, this is love and life itself.”

* They said that your child is possessed by a demon, that this is the shape

“A 7-year-old boy was not satisfied with plastic surgery. He had put his hands on his face before the operation and did not allow anyone to see his face. He was afraid of everyone, even his parents. The deep cleft lip and palate had made a bad face of the child, ‌ his mother cried and said that in the 7 years that Rasool was born, we are hero with earth and time. Everyone who sees our children is terrified. It is said that your child is possessed by a demon. He used to say that he did not remember that Bachum had set foot in the alley, the school offered him. They were from one of the remote villages of Birjand.

By all means, I took him to the operating room. After the plastic surgery and when he regained consciousness, I went to him with a mirror and said, “Are you going to look at the mirror together?” I slowly moved the mirror in front of his face. He cried when he saw his new face in the mirror. He hugged me and would not let go. “I think he is now 10 years old.”

The sheriff professor is overjoyed and sends us a photo of the Birjandi boy before and after the operation, saying: I said under his ear: You set fire to my soul … open your mouth and speak … I am Jacob blind … send the smell of the shirt … I was blind that I had not gone to this child earlier to operate on him and bring him to life “I will return to normal.”

* Everyday life of a plastic surgeon / father, wife, daughter, love, service ….

This is just a story from the lives of hundreds and thousands of Iranian families who distanced themselves from normal life due to the presence of jaw and face and skull abnormalities in their children. Jaw and facial abnormalities, the most common of which is the deep cleft lip and palate of the skull, make a child look ugly. And sometimes one or more surgeries are needed. But can a family that lives in the most remote village of Iran and does not have the money to come to the city, be able to afford millions of plastic surgeries? Many rural families do not even know that their child’s facial problems can be removed with plastic surgery.

Professor Jalil Kalantar goes to each of these families, without taking a single rial of money, becomes a father for the suffering children of Iran, and with a free surgery, Hassan ends the sad story of their own lives and those of their families. His wife, who is also a doctor, accompanies him along this ups and downs. Not only the wife but also the daughter of Professor Kalantar has been added to this family gathering. Nowadays, in the name of the father, Dr. Kalantar from all over Iran has a congratulatory message on Father’s Day.

* In preparation for a romantic trip

Dr. Kalantar’s specialty is one of the most expensive and luxurious specialties in the world. We go to him to ask what can happen to a person with a degree in plastic surgery, a professor at an entire university with dozens of positions and scientific chairs, and in a situation where he can perform several cosmetic surgeries in one day and earn hundreds of millions a month. Is he shaking money, opening the door to patients in need, and shaving for free? Dr. Kalantar and his companions are preparing for the 28th romantic trip to the deprived villages.

Mission: To repair faces that either do not have a nose, or a jaw or half a skull!

Professor “Abdul Jalil Kalantar Hormozi” is teaching abroad and our conversation with him is done through WhatsApp. He was born in Ramhormoz, Ahvaz and his school days were very short and he reached Jundishapur University and was accepted in medicine. The medical era is not over yet when the war begins. Dr. Sheriff reviews memories of eight years of war; “The enemy attacked and I stayed in Ahvaz. We were in the hospital day and night. Sometimes I did not sleep for three hours in three days and nights. During all the years of the war, I saw fighters who lost half of their faces, one had his arm amputated, one had his nose cracked, one had his eyes emptied, one had his jaw lost. “It was then that I decided to continue my studies in plastic surgery so that I could repair the faces of the fighters.”

* اStaying in England with special circumstances or acting as your mother promised?

Professor Sheriff has as many stories and memories as all his years of service, but he goes through all of them quickly to get to the heart of the matter. In the narrative of all these years of service, however, we can not ignore the story of the doctor’s denial of the English and his reason for staying; “I got the first rank in plastic surgery in Iran and I got a scholarship in England to get a subspecialty and went to England. While studying at university, I was invited to stab and operate in a Chelsea hospital. It usually does not happen that the student is asked to have surgery. It was then that the British made me a tempting offer. To stay in England, to become a citizen of this country. Living in the best conditions with all facilities, the highest possible salary. “But I did not accept and returned to my homeland.”

We ask why you came back and the answer is audible when he talks about his commitment to his mother and homeland; “When I was accepted to Ahvaz Jundishapur University, my mother said, ‘Abdul Jalil, I will give you a portion of the milk I gave you. Do not forget Ahvaz and your country. I promised my mother; A masculine and eternal promise. The reason for choosing the field of plastic surgery was to save the people of my country and to act according to my mother. “How could I leave and become a British citizen?” Dr. Kalantar stayed and made an amazing event in the world of plastic surgery in Iran.

* We will do plastic surgery on your child’s face for free

The era of love began. He started a specialized plastic surgery department in Ahvaz Hospital and started repairing the faces of Ahvaz veterans. He performed dozens of reconstructive surgeries on the faces of combatants who had to go abroad for each of these surgeries. He also started the plastic surgery department at 15 Khordad Hospital in Tehran, and his romance took on a different color and smell, and he decided to go to the needy who lived in the corners of remote villages and had jaw and facial abnormalities. Started first from Ramhormoz; From his birthplace. “I suggested to some of my colleagues and I said, ‘Will you go with me?’ Let’s go to the rural families. I saw the patients’ families come to Tehran from the village with a thousand efforts and take themselves to my office, it was another week for their patients. I said to myself, where will this poor rural family go in this week in Darandasht? He has no money to pay for the inn and food. “I told you not to come, I will come to your city and your village and do your work for free.”

How did the largest group of Plasnik surgeons in the world come into being?

The first trip of a plastic surgeon was accompanied by strange events. “I went on a trip alone,” says Professor Sheriff. I got help from the welfare and relief committee and said that you know any family that has children with jaw and face disorders. Tell us about it. Tell a doctor who comes and operates on your child without taking any money. Officials said the number was low. But we saw that when it came to not receiving money, families from all over the village came to us. We have seen hundreds of children with maxillofacial malformations who have not yet acted out of poverty. I admitted and operated on a number of children at my own expense. Then I saw that maxillofacial abnormalities were very common in people who could not have surgery. After a while, I came to the conclusion that one hand does not have sound. I asked the doctors who were once my students for help. They also welcomed us and we started working with 7 people and named our group “Ointment”. After one or two trips, the number of volunteer plastic surgeons reached 50. Everyone joined us. From my wife and child, who are doctors, and who loved the ointment more than I did, rather than volunteering for treatment. Thus, the name of the ointment group was registered as the first group of plastic surgeons in the world. We went to different cities. From Mazandaran, Sistan and Baluchestan and Zahedan to Azerbaijan, Kerman and Zabol. The ointment group set a world record for plastic surgery. We do not take a rial from anyone. Everyone came and said, “Come and get this 50 million donations from us, we did not accept.” We said we want your expertise, not your money. Then we were surprised by the goodwill of the people. We saw that a gentleman came on a trip and said, “I will give you 50 taxis to follow the patients and bring them to the hospital.” “Someone came and said I would pay for 50 suites for rural families.”

* We come home sick with respect

We are still surprised to hear this sentence and we ask, are you following him in the patient’s house? “Yes,” says Dr. Sheriff. We bring a patient who has been in the backyard until then and has not seen the color of the outside because of his appearance, with respect to his parents, from his house in the village to the provincial hospital. We are staying with his family. We treat the patient for free, release him, and then take him and his family home. When Corona came, our travels were stopped and it was not possible for us to go to the provinces. But during this time we were not unemployed and we brought patients who were in bad condition to Tehran at our own expense and performed their surgery. “A few months ago, we performed 60 plastic surgeries on the 15 Khordad Hospital in Tehran in one day, and we are preparing for our next trip, and we hope that the condition of Corona disease will improve so that we can set another record.”

* I raise my head and cook it all over the world

Our conversation with the number one man in Iranian plastic surgery ends with beautiful sentences. “I want to cook, and you write,” says Professor Sheriff. I graduated from 70 plastic surgeons, but leave that out. I am proud to have traveled with Marham Group 27 plastic surgeons with 4,800 free cleft lip and palate surgeries, which is worth billions. I tell the whole world. Do you think I want to cook? Some things have to do with cooking. I raise my head and say that I have had free plastic surgery on the faces of those who hide themselves from everyone and their families are suffering because of facial defects and abnormalities.

I am proud to say that I hit 200 million tomans and 12 times I operated on the face of a child who had a deformity of the jaw, face and skull and his face looked like everything except a human being without receiving a single rial so that the child could leave his house. I was in the operating room for 10 hours for some of these operations. But all this fatigue is the sacrifice of a hair of a child who lived with this horrible look until he was 7 years old, because I had neglected him and I went to him late. Yesterday, he sent me a loving message congratulating me on Father’s Day with a picture next to his mother, and the calmness of the child’s face and the words that he called me father are enough for the comfort of me and my wife, who has traveled with me in love on this path. »
