I wish his mother was alive! / The right is more than that

Life group: We have heard many times that heaven is under the feet of mothers, but why? Why does God consider the role and position of the mother so superior that He introduces heaven and His best blessing as her coming place. The Imams (as) and the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) have many hadiths and narrations regarding the role of the mother, respect and the effects of serving her, which unfortunately few of us have read these hadiths. In the following, we have brought some of these readable and interesting hadiths.
Your deadline had come, but …
Hanan Ibn Sadir says: We were in the presence of Imam Sadegh (AS) that “Misr” was also among us, there was talk of kinship, Imam Sadegh (AS) said: O Misr, how many times your death and death have come and “God has delayed it for the sake of mercy with your relatives. If you want God to prolong your life, do good to your parents.”Sea of Lights »
A language that does not open to witness!
Imam Sadegh (AS) said: When a young man died, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was present next to his bed and said to the young man: Say La ilaha illa Allah, but the young man stopped his tongue, repeated it several times, but his tongue was closed, the Prophet (PBUH) He said to the woman next to the young man: Does this young man have a mother? The woman said: Yes, I am her mother. She said: Are you dissatisfied with her? The woman said: Yes, I have not talked to him for six years. He said: Be satisfied with him. The woman said: O Messenger of God, may God be pleased with him for your satisfaction. (I was satisfied with him) Then the Prophet (PBUH) said to the young man: Say La ilaha illa Allah, the young man said at this time: La ilaha illa Allah and after a while he died.Sea of Lights »
I wish his mother was alive!
Imam Sajjad (AS) said: A man came to the service of the Messenger of God (PBUH) and said: O Messenger of God, I have not done anything ugly that I have not done, can I repent? The Messenger of God (PBUH) said: Are any of your parents alive? He said: Yes, my father. The Imam said: Go and do good to him (until you are forgiven). When he left, the Prophet (PBUH) said: “I wish his mother was alive.”Sea of Lights »
Jihad or service to the mother ?!
Jabir says: A man who served the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came and said: I like a cheerful youth and jihad, but I have a mother who does not want to go to jihad. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to her: Go back and be with your mother, I swear by the fact that she sent me with the truth to prophecy that one night she is better with you than one year of jihad in the way of Allaah.“Enough”
Mother, mother, mother!
Imam Sadegh (AS) said: A man came to the presence of the Holy Prophet of Islam, peace be upon him and his family, and offered: O Messenger of God! Which of my relatives should I do good to? He said: To your mother. The man asked: After that? He said: To your mother. He asked for the third time: The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Your mother. In the fourth turn, the Imam said: Do good to your father!“Al-Kafi”
Disobedience the size of a loaf of bread!
Imam Sajjad (as) was asked: You are one of the most virtuous people towards your mother, why do not you sit at the same table with her? The Imam said: I am afraid that my hand will overtake the food that my mother’s eyes have gone to before [و می خواهد بردارد] And I have disobeyed him as much. “Sea of Lights”
Mother’s right over you!
Imam Zayn al-‘Abidin (as) said: Your mother’s right is to know that she has taken you in such a way that she does not take anyone else like that and has eaten you from the fruit of her heart in such a way that no one else eats like that and really listens to you. He has taken care of his eyes, hands, feet, skin, and all his limbs (with all his being), and with this care, he has constantly taken care of the joys and pleasures, and has endured every misery, pain, cost, and worry (during pregnancy) as the hand stretches (pests). ) Has taken you away from you and put you on the ground and has been happy that you are full and he himself is hungry and you are clothed and he is naked and he is watering you and he is thirsty and he is in the shadow of you and he Be under the sun and bless you with his misery and taste the pleasure of sleep with his insomnia, and his belly is the vessel of your being, and his skirt is your orphanage, and his breast is sprinkled, and his life keeps you, he has tasted the cold and warm world for you and So thank him for all this, and you can only appreciate this thanks to God’s help and success.“The gift of the mind”
When the Prophet called the staff!
They asked the Messenger of God (pbuh) what is the right of a mother? He said: Hihat: Hihat: If you stand in the service of your mother with the number of desert sands and raindrops, it will not be equal to one day that you were in her womb.“Mustadrak al-Wasa’il”
The right is more than that!
One day, a person said to the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him: O Messenger of God! My mother is old and lives with me, I carry her on my back, I take her here and there to meet her needs, and I provide for her needs from my income, I protect her from persecution with my own hands, I treat him with courtesy and respect. Have I made up for his efforts to some extent? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: No, because his abdomen was your place, his breasts your source of nourishment, his steps were your means of movement, his arms were your protector, and his arms were your cradle. He performed all these services for you with satisfaction and wished you survival; But you provide services to him, while you wait for his death.“Mustadrak al-Wasa’il”
