According to Mehr News Agency, citing Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, the 49th meeting of the university council was held in the presence of Dr. Alireza Zali, president of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and other members in Shahid Beheshti Hall.
At the beginning of this meeting, the president of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences spoke about the guidelines for professional clothing (faculty members, staff and students) and the implementation of the culture bell in colleges, and it was decided that from the beginning of October of this year, the guidelines for professional clothing for university staff, professors and students will be issued. to be implemented and to monitor the implementation of this resolution by different vice-presidents.
It was also approved that Culture Call will also be implemented in the university’s affiliated faculties from the beginning of October in order to explain cultural topics related to hijab and chastity, professional skills and risky social behaviors, etc.
In the continuation of the meeting, the Vice-Chancellors of Research, Technology and Education presented their proposals regarding the establishment of research centers and the launch of new educational fields.
According to this report, in this meeting, after the discussion and exchange of opinions of the members, it was agreed to set up a micronutrient research center under the Endocrine and Metabolism Research Institute and the Health Sciences Development Center.
It was also agreed with the need to establish a radio-oncology research center and it was decided that after implementing the proposals presented in this meeting, they will be presented again to the council for approval.
It was also agreed with the establishment of the medical imaging technology course at the master’s level, the establishment of the biotechnology law training group, the establishment of the fellowship in clinical ethics, the fellowship in the field of radiotherapy and oncology of the female genital tract, and the fellowship in the field of radiotherapy and breast oncology.
In this meeting, it was agreed to form the medical informatics group with the involvement of the health information technology and management group in the paramedical faculty.
