He added: Pursuing the supply of Spinraza drug started in January 1400 and following the order of the president, and in recent days, the first shipment of the drug for these patients entered the country.
Pointing out that he put the supply of another drug for SMA patients on the agenda, he said: Food and Drug Organization will make the supplied drugs available to patients in coordination with the Ministry of Health’s Deputy Director of Treatment and based on treatment priorities.
It should be mentioned that Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raeesi, the President, in a meeting with the families of patients with SMA, promised to supply them with medicine, which was brought to the country yesterday.
