Improving 4700 villages on the agenda of the Housing Foundation

According to Fars News Agency, Mohammad Reza Shamloo, today in a TV program, expressing the budget statistics intended for rural housing activities, said: “Development activities and securing villages in previous years were appropriate considering the credit of 8,000 billion Tomans that was allocated.” And the total national and rural credits allocated so far has been 75% of the total credits.

The Housing Foundation’s Deputy Civil Engineer continued: “The master plan is for a specific period, and the master plan that was prepared in previous years should be reviewed in new periods.” In the initial surveys, 3,500 villages were implemented in the form of a pilot project, and with the policies adopted, the number of these projects has increased to 4,400 villages.

* Improving 4,700 villages on the agenda of the Housing Foundation

In the latest statistics of rural housing, the official said: “In the field of implementation and improvement of villages, we have put plans for the implementation of 4,700 new and semi-finished projects in all regions of the country on our agenda.”

He added: The budget for the implementation of the pilot project in 1401 is much less than the previous year.

* The rural development budget for 1401 is one third of last year

Referring to the fact that the pilot project has not started yet in 20,000 villages and the implementation of the pilot project in more than 10,000 villages is incomplete, Shamloo said: the necessary budget for the implementation of the pilot project in a 10-year period is about 15,000 billion tomans. And the numbers announced for next year are one-third needed, and in 1401 we face difficulties for rural development.

Shamloo, in stating the statistics of rural pilot projects, said: “According to the census, we have 39,465 villages with more than 20 households, all of which have pilot projects.” According to the approvals and review committees, the facilities are based on the villages that are ready to cooperate, because the implementation of this project is participation-oriented and is implemented in the form of cooperation.
