According to the Mehr News Agency, citing the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, 888 cooperative projects in the production, service, distribution and housing sectors with the presence of First Vice President Mohammad Mokhbar. Mehdi Maskani, deputy of cooperative affairs of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare in this meeting, stating that with the opening of 888 cooperative projects, job opportunities will be created for 16 thousand 264 people, he said: 572 projects (equivalent to 64 percent) in the field of production, 264 projects In service and other distribution sectors (equivalent to 30 percent) and 52 projects in the field of housing (equivalent to 6 percent) were put into operation today.

He added: In total, about 5,031 billion Tomans were invested in the opening projects, of which about 2,014 billion Tomans (equivalent to 40% of the total) were invested in production cooperative projects, and 1,639 billion Tomans (33%) in service projects. and other distribution and 1,378 billion Tomans have been invested in housing projects (equivalent to 27 percent).

Masakani stated: The opened projects have created jobs for 16,264 people in total, of which housing cooperatives as the driving force for creating employment for 3,478 people (21%) have created jobs on a temporary basis during their construction.

The deputy of cooperative affairs stated that a total of 79 percent of the employment resulting from the projects that were exploited were created in the productive sector and in a sustainable manner, and said: Production employment cooperatives with the number of 8924 people (55 percent) have created employment in the opening projects in a sustainable manner, and service cooperatives and other distributions create permanent and productive jobs for 3866 people (24%).

He stated: The per capita investment for creating each temporary job (housing cooperatives) is 395 million Tomans and for each permanent job (production, service and other distribution) 286 million Tomans.

Maskani said: Each plan creates 18 jobs on average, and the average job creation for each plan is 16 people in production cooperatives, 67 people in housing (temporarily) and 14 people in services and other distribution.
