Industry and Mining, the second recipient of banking facilities

According to statistics published by the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade (Samat), in the first five months of this year, a total of more than 900,000 billion tomans of facilities from banks and credit institutions to the sectors of agriculture, industry and mining, housing and construction, trade, Services and other miscellaneous sectors have been paid, which has increased by 78% compared to the facilities of 506 thousand billion Tomans in the same period of the previous year.

Meanwhile, payment facilities to the industry and mining sector with an increase of 76.7 percent in the first five months of this year, has reached 275 thousand and 560 billion tomans. The amount of these facilities in the first five months of last year was 155 thousand and 930 billion tomans.

The share of payment facilities of banks and credit institutions to the industry and mining sector of the total facilities paid to the sectors of agriculture, industry and mining, housing and construction, trade, services and other miscellaneous sectors in the first five months of last year was 30.8%. This year, the figure has reached 30.6 percent.

Also, payment facilities of banks and credit institutions to the commercial sector in the first five months of last year was about 103 thousand billion tomans, which increased by 41.5 percent to 145 thousand and 380 billion tomans in the same period this year.

However, the share of the commercial sector in the total payment facilities to the mentioned sectors has decreased from 20.3% in the first five months of 1399 to 16.1%.

Among these, the most payment facilities of banks and credit institutions are allocated to the service sector, which in the first five months of this year accounted for 41.3% of the total payment facilities, which is equivalent to 371 thousand and 660 billion tomans, which compared to the same period in Last year, it increased by 107.9 percent.

After services, industry, mining and trade, agriculture and housing received 6.9% and 5.1% of the total payment facilities of banks and credit institutions, respectively. Of course, payment facilities to the two sectors of agriculture and housing have increased by 65.3 and 49.2 percent, respectively, compared to the first five months of last year and have reached 61,980 billion and 46,000 billion tomans.
