Stating that now more than 95% of influenza cases in our country are type A and this trend is also observed in other countries and the number of cases of type B influenza is less, he said: It is recommended that people in the target group, especially the elderly, inject influenza vaccine.

Pointing out that about 160 people have died due to this disease, Arashi said: “Most of them are people who had not been vaccinated.” Therefore, it is recommended to inject the vaccine while using the mask.

He explained about the shortage of drugs: There is no shortage of specific influenza drugs because these drugs are also used in the treatment of corona, so we do not have a shortage in this regard.
