Introducing a new Chinese pickup truck with an American name and design + photos
According to Trade News, EF1-T studio images have already been released and are considered as a pickup. Of course, modular decisions can also be considered for the load part! For example, installing a four-door cab, van (EF1-V) and… that form the next products of the Edison Future family.
This car bears similarities to the Tesla Cyber Truck due to the color intended for the prototype and some angles at the rear.
In the pickup engine section, the single-engine model called the “standard” trim produces 470 horsepower and accelerates from a standstill to 96 km / h in 6.5 seconds. The model equipped with two electric motors or the “premium” trim records this index in 4.5 seconds.
But the “Super” trim, with three electric motors and 816 horsepower output, accelerates from a standstill to 96 km / h in 3.9 seconds.
For the EF1 in the van model, it will be possible to order single-engine and dual-engine trims, with an output of 400 and 690 hp, respectively.
One of the most important features of these products (pickups and vans) that the manufacturer has emphasized is related to solar charging, about which no details have been provided. But in the pictures it is clear that the main part of it consists of solar panels on the roof. In one of the models, part of this solar roof has a moving structure, which is an interesting design of its kind.
Inside the cabin, a 17.5-inch display for the entertainment system is used.
