According to Mehr News Agency, Ansieh Khazali, Vice President for Women and Family Affairs, said on the eve of the National Marriage Day: Investing in the marriage of the sixties will benefit the country and prevent future problems of this dear generation.
He added: 21% of the country’s population is in the sixties, which, while they are a huge capital for the country, neglecting to pay attention to it can be harmful for the country.
Khazali said: Currently, the number of unmarried girls in rural areas is double that of unmarried girls in cities, and this statistic is a warning, and part of it is due to the migration of men to the city for work, and it should be provided by providing employment, housing and special facilities. Marriage and also suitable insurance coverage supported them.
He stated: It is appropriate to take effective and timely steps for the youth of the population, because delay in this field will be irreparable.
