Iran never intends to waste time or divert the flow of negotiations – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr news agency, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, described the future of Iran’s nuclear program in an interview with the Chinese television network CGTN on Monday.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced in this televised interview: During my visit to China, a consensus was reached on a range of important issues; Including the implementation of the comprehensive strategic agreement between Tehran and Beijing. In order to implement this long-term agreement to develop relations between the two countries, both sides need a roadmap.

He added: “We have reached an agreement on a comprehensive and long-term strategic cooperation of 25 years.” My trip is here to discuss with my Chinese counterpart Wang Yi how this program works. We exchanged views on regional and international issues.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian continued: China has always played an active and logical role in the nuclear talks, especially in the ongoing talks in Vienna, with the aim of lifting sanctions against our country. During the negotiations (ongoing negotiations to lift sanctions in Vienna), China has always opposed US harsh sanctions against Iran and condemned US bullying.

In this interview, the head of Iran’s diplomatic service emphasized: “In a meeting with my Chinese counterparts, I appreciated Beijing’s support in this regard and expressed hope that Beijing would continue to support Tehran’s position.” We also assured the Chinese authorities that Iran never intends to waste time or divert negotiations. During the talks, we made a positive, constructive and realistic proposal in Vienna. China and Russia supported the proposal; But Western countries, including the United States, did not offer any innovative proposals.

Amir Abdullahian stressed: “If the other parties return to their obligations under the nuclear agreement, Iran will also return to its obligations under this agreement.” If Tehran can achieve its expected economic benefits from this agreement, all parties will also receive mutual benefits.
