According to Mehr News Agency, “Joseph Borrell”, the EU foreign policy chief, said in an exclusive interview with Arab News about the guarantees provided by Tehran for full compliance with the 2015 nuclear agreement (Borjam). It has explicitly insisted that all parties return to full implementation of the agreement, which includes the return of the United States to the agreement with the lifting of all relevant sanctions, as well as Iran’s re-adherence to its obligations under the Convention.

He went on to emphasize that the Iran nuclear deal remains an important security achievement, claiming that without it, Iran would have been able to develop nuclear weapons and thus add another destabilizing resource to the Middle East.

Referring to the negative projections of Iran’s nuclear activities, Borrell called for the resumption of the Vienna talks as soon as possible and the continuation of the June 20 talks, saying that his message to Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdullahian in New York was simple: “Diplomacy is the solution; Without delay to [مذاکرات] “Wayne is back.”
