According to the Mehr reporter, the second day of the second round of the Asian Volleyball Championship hosted by Japan started today, in one of today’s matches, the Iranian national volleyball team defeated Chinese Taipei 3-0.
Iran, which is in the sixth group at this stage, won against South Korea yesterday and decided to advance to the semi-finals, but with today’s victory against Chinese Taipei, it advanced to the semi-finals as the leader.
In today’s game, which started at 10:30 (Iranian time), Behrouz Atai’s students won the first set with a score of 25 to 10. In the second set, Chinese Taipei showed a stronger opponent and was able to overtake Iran even in some moments, but at the end of the set, our national team won 25-23.
In the third set, it was again Iran that imposed its power on the opponent and won with a result of 25 to 11 to reach the semi-finals without losing.
