According to the Mehr correspondent, the selection process of the national freestyle wrestling team selection cycle caused Hassan Yazdani, Kamran Ghasempour and Amir Hossein Zare to be exempted from participating in the Throne Cup competitions as the three national gold medalists of Iran in last year’s World Championships.
For this reason, the technical staff of the national freestyle wrestling team intends to send these people to the upcoming ranking arenas, which will be held in different countries in the next four months according to the calendar of the World Wrestling Union.
Thus, Hassan Yazdani, Kamran Ghasempour and Amir Hossein Zare must participate in competitions such as the competitions in Kazakhstan (June 12-15), the international competitions in Italy (July 1 to 4) and the international competitions in Tunisia (July 23 to 26). It is considered the ranking of the World Union.
Of course, the technical staff of the national team has not yet announced which of these competitions it is considering, but it is said that the final decision has been postponed until after the Asian Championship. The Asian Wrestling Championships will be hosted by Mongolia in late April.
