Iranian Youth Cinema Association reports on its 5-year achievements

Theater News Base: The important achievements of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association from January 2017 to November 1400 were announced as follows:

A) Cultural and artistic achievements

· Received approval from the Oscar Academy for the Tehran International Short Film Festival (Oscar Qualify)

Training of 15036 students by holding 1022 filmmaking courses and teaching film jobs.

Production of 1248 professional and semi-professional short films and 980 educational short films

Establishment of 24 representative offices of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association in low-income cities of the country

· Holding 5 periods of Tehran International Short Film Festival

· Holding 100 specialized meetings simultaneously with holding 34 to 38 short film festivals in Tehran by Iranian and foreign masters in person and online and more than 50,000 visits

Holding 15 regional festivals of young cinema

Holding 68 weeks of films and photos in the offices of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association

· Holding 2 short film conferences in order to improve the level of general knowledge in the field of filmmaking

Holding 4 weeks of foreign films in Iran and Iranian Film Week in Turkey and Greece

Receive 459 awards from international forums and festivals

2888 Attendance of short films in international forums and festivals

· Establishment of 77 cinematographers in deprived and underprivileged areas for screening of Cinema Day movies

· The return of the Crystal Simorgh Award for Best Short Film to the Fajr International Film Festival

· Publishing 32 titles of specialized short film books

· Holding 4436 online training sessions on filmmaking and film jobs in cyberspace with 54790 participants during the outbreak of coronary heart disease

Establish 31 provincial screening councils with the aim of decentralizing and creating cultural justice in the process of supporting the production of short films by the Youth Cinema Association

· Establishment of the Supreme Council for the Production of Short Films by the Association

Production of 18727 news content titles in the virtual pages of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association

· Holding short film hangouts throughout the country’s offices (face-to-face screening of 214 selected short films from Iran and the world)

· Holding a scan against Corona with the presence of 339 short films

· Holding a seven-minute filmmaking scan, seven climates

· Screening online ١٢٠ The title of the short film produced by the association in the form of the program “Four films, four ideas”

· Purposeful holding of 57 specialized virtual meetings in the field of short films on a weekly basis with Iranian and foreign professors

· Holding 13 virtual research sessions for scientific support of the third conference on short film studies in Tehran

Establishment of book clubs in young cinema offices across the country and support with books and book reading competitions

Teaching adolescents and supporting the production of films and ideas for four adolescent filmmaking olympiads in collaboration with the Farabi Cinema Foundation and UNICEF

· Holding 6 knowledge enhancement courses for office trainers across the country

· Holding meetings of the Higher Education Council and specialized departments of disciplines, to design an interactive filmmaking course for the Corona era in a virtual and workshop and 16 new courses in the field of film jobs

B) Optimization of administrative activities

· Updating the filmmaking equipment of 42 offices of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association

Closing the files of 12 years of arrears tax of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association (2008-2009)

Closing 5 years of association insurance files in the Social Security Organization (2015-2011)

· Manpower agility of the headquarters of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association

· The beginning of the job classification plan for the employees of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association
