Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein is the guest of Amir Abdullahian in Tehran on Thursday

Tomorrow (Thursday), Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein will be the guest of Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran paid a one-day visit to Baku today and will host his Iraqi counterpart in Tehran tomorrow.
This is Fouad Hussein’s first bilateral visit to Tehran in the 13th government.
After assuming this position, the head of the diplomatic service of the Islamic Republic of Iran traveled to Iraq to attend the Baghdad meeting, and while attending the meeting, he met with his Iraqi counterpart Fouad Hussein and other Iraqi officials.
In a message to his Iraqi counterpart, the Iranian Foreign Minister recently congratulated the successful holding of the parliamentary elections in this country and stressed Iran’s readiness for joint cooperation in the development and comprehensive development of relations between the two countries. Amir Abdullahian and Fouad Hussein agreed in a meeting in New York in October this year that some issues between them, including the issue of transferring Iranian money to the Iraqi government, be pursued more seriously than before and these issues be resolved as soon as possible. (More details)
