Iraq’s readiness to provide the basis for the start of political negotiations between Iran and Saudi Arabia

According to the foreign policy group of Fars News Agency, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian had a telephone conversation with Iraq’s Foreign Minister Fouad Hossein tonight (Thursday). In this conversation, the expansion of bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region were discussed.

The foreign ministers of the two countries had met each other during the recent visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to Tehran (July 5).
