According to the Public Relations of Justice of Hamedan Province, Mohammad Reza Adalatkhah stated in the meeting of the Council for the Prevention of Crime of Justice, which was held with the focus on implementing the law on preserving the use of agricultural lands and gardens: Hamedan is a fertile province that can solve the country’s problems. Explaining the importance of soil in the growth and development of a country, the Chief Justice of Hamadan Province said: “By changing the use of agricultural lands, the field for cultivating different crops will be destroyed, which is an irreparable damage to the country.”

“We all have a responsibility to preserve this valuable heritage, so in addition to taking effective action, some of the laws that pave the way for land use change need to be amended,” he said, stressing the need for public determination to preserve and safeguard soil resources.

Adalatkhah stated that the judiciary is serious about changing the use of agricultural lands and will not be affected by espionage and oppression, and said: “We in the judiciary issue our rulings in a prudent manner based on prudence and rationality.”

He lamented that there seems to be no serious will to counter the change in the use of agricultural land, saying: “In addition to population size and agricultural land, the lack of required human resources and other facilities has caused this issue to not be properly addressed.”

The Chief Justice of Hamedan Province, pointing out that 900,000 hectares of the province’s land can be cultivated, added: “In the next 10 years, the amount of land will decrease and the population will increase, which will reduce our per capita in this sector in the province.”

Emphasizing the need to deal decisively with profiteers who change the use of gardens due to wealth and pleasure, he stated: The judiciary is not enough to destroy in this area, but our plan is that these profiteers at their own expense to improve the land. Restore its original state.

Adalatkhah, referring to the will of the people to deal seriously with profiteers and people who try to destroy the gardens, said: “We must also consider the mechanism of its implementation when enacting the law in this area so that they can be implemented.”
