According to the General Directorate of Public Relations of the Judiciary, Ayatollah Ra’isi met with a number of economic activists in Fars province at the end of his trip to Shiraz.
At this meeting, the head of the judiciary said about a person whose factory was closed due to debts and had demands to the workers and the support staff, and he wanted judicial support for immediate settlement of the claims as well as reopening of the factory: the provincial prosecutor and the inspection organization Follow up on the issue in a few days to get the factory up and running.
Addressing the governor, the head of the judiciary said: “The director general of justice and the prosecutor of the center of Fars province are carrying out the necessary follow-ups, and you should follow up the issue within a maximum of one month so that this factory falls on the production line and flourishes.”
According to the solution seen in the meeting, the provincial officials present at the meeting unanimously promised to solve the factory’s one-month problem.
The second client was the manager of a motor factory with 40 years of experience, which was sealed due to a legal problem in his large production unit.
This person demanded that this issue be addressed, and that the head of the judiciary issued an order to follow up on the issue to the head of the State Property and Deeds Registration Organization within a specified time.
The next person was the head of the pensioners’ association of a telecommunication equipment company, which was transferred to the private sector after 1983, and then in 1985, problems were created for the retired workers in terms of salaries and annuities, and their claims were not paid.
The production cycles of this factory have not been running for years
The head of the judiciary asked the governor and the judicial officials of the province to follow up the issue through the Industrial Protection Board, so that the demands of these 1,300 people would be paid and the factory would be re-launched.
Ayatollah Ra’isi also set a time limit for resolving the problem and paying the workers’ demands.
The head of the judiciary then met with a number of other economic activists and industrialists in Fars province and issued orders to solve the problems of these production units.
