Judiciary: Let’s act in such a way that our prisons also promote the righteousness of the Islamic system

According to the public relations report of the Prisons Organization, Haj Mohammadi emphasized the need for synergy and cooperation in expressing the achievements of human rights in Iran’s judicial system in a meeting with the deputy of international affairs of the judiciary and the secretary of the human rights headquarters.

The head of the prisons organization stated that there are many capacities for cooperation and said: we must act in such a way that despite the efforts of the enemies, through the efforts made in the prisons, we should promote the righteousness of the system.

Haj Mohammadi added: Although we are still far from the desired point and what is expected based on religious teachings, our prison services and actions are unique in many indicators in the world.

In another part of his speech, the member of the Supreme Judicial Council said: Enemies of the regime and the revolution are making extensive efforts to instill a negative atmosphere in prisons, but thanks to God’s grace and the jihadist work of the staff, you have seen that even the Corona crisis was well managed in the prisons. .

The head of the prisons organization presented the views of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader regarding the necessity of respecting the citizenship rights of prisoners and said: The views of our elders in the field of human rights and attention to prisoners are more progressive than many countries that claim human rights.

The Vice President of International Affairs of the Iranian Judiciary and the Secretary of the Human Rights Staff stated in this meeting that was held at the place of the Prisons Organization: The achievements of the prisons in the field of observing the rights of citizens and providing various services to the prisoners should be properly and using the capacities of the media. He continued: Along with presenting the achievements, the experiences of other countries can also be used.

Dr. Bagheri Kenny added: One of the important things that we have to do is to compile international documents in the field of introducing and presenting our successes and achievements to other countries.
