According to the public relations of the General Inspectorate, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Darwishians considered monitoring as one of the main principles of good governance and said: “Monitoring does not mean distrust of executors, but to help and guide executors and carry out missions provided by law.”
He added: “Supervision in all matters is a way forward and therefore the three branches are not immune from supervision and do not need it, and if we want to have efficient, timely and effective supervision, the monitoring devices in the three branches and different departments must be coordinated with each other.”
Hojjat-ul-Islam and Muslims Darvishian regarding the legal status of the Council of Supervisory bodies stated: Since the beginning of 1999, several meetings have been held in the Expediency Council regarding the permanent activity of the Council of Supervisory Bodies, which was finally approved by the Supervisory Bodies Council. Changes and combinations were also changed in addition to previous devices.
A member of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary added: The head of the Article 90 Commission replaced the Deputy Supervisor of the Parliament, and the head of the IRGC Intelligence Organization was added to the composition of the members. The executive instructions of the council will be developed and approved by the council within three months.
In another part of his speech, the head of the National Inspection Organization pointed out that the system of the main issues of the province should be defined: the meetings of the Coordination Council should be held seriously in the provinces and it should be determined what important and priority issues exist in the province.
He added: “Another important point is coordination and consensus among council members, and the message of establishing a council of oversight bodies to officials and executive bodies should be that a consensual, coordinated and like-minded body seriously pursues solving people’s problems through legal oversight.”
Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Darwishian reminded: “By taking the council seriously and its proper functioning, the waste of time and energy of the supervisory bodies will be prevented by dividing the work and entering the files in parallel.”
The head of the National Inspection Agency considered the holding of conferences and awareness-raising meetings as another effective action of the council.
According to the report, the Coordination Council of Supervisors, composed of the head of the General Inspectorate, the head of the Administrative Justice Court, the Minister of Information, the head of the Court of Accounts, the head of the Article 90 Commission, the head of the Management and Planning Organization and the head of the IRGC Intelligence Organization. The system has been approved and its amendment law will be announced soon.
