According to the Public Relations of Alborz Province Justice, a joint meeting of senior judicial managers of the province with the officials of Alborz prisons was held in the central penitentiary of Karaj with the aim of interacting as much as possible and using legal capacities to organize and reduce the prison population.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ismail Jamyari, Director General of Alborz Prisons, while appreciating the Director General of Justice and other associates, said: The judicial authorities of the province are expected to visit the prisoners face to face, determine the duties of the accused, grant judicial amnesties including parole, suspension and mitigation of punishment, acceptance of imprisonment, development of the system of semi-liberty system and electronic confinement, granting Leave and employment of eligible prisoners to cooperate and accompany the adjustment of the current situation of the province’s prisons.
Following this, Katar Madadi, the Public Prosecutor of Alborz Province, said: “By forming 4 groups of 15 people in the Karaj Prosecutor’s Office to visit the prisons of Alborz Province, we met with more than 1,000 clients and prepared various formats and requested the prisoners.” Judicial colleagues are located.
He added: “The screening plan has been started in line with the recent menus of Ayatollah Ra’isi, who, according to the plans made, will meet all the judges of the province at once, all the prisoners, and after listening to their problems and requests, will issue appropriate orders.”
Referring to the change in the judiciary, Fazeli, the director general of the province’s judiciary, said at the meeting: “100 programs have been carried out in line with the transformation vision plan, 10% of which has been directly related to the prison.”
He added: “Very good measures have been taken in the field of Amnesty Commission and we have been the first in the country in the discussion of video conferencing and electronic bonding, and this has not been except with the cooperation, coordination and efforts of judges and prison officials.”
It should be noted that in addition to the release of 28 involuntary offenders in the province by the Diyeh Headquarters and the Karaj Prisoners’ Support Association, 117 inmates whose remaining imprisonment or punishment were subject to a directive by the Judiciary were granted end-of-prison leave. They were released.
