According to the General Directorate of Public Relations of the Judiciary, Ayatollah Raisi, the head of the Judiciary, sent a message of condolences on the death of Ayatollah Yousef Sanei.

I offer my condolences on the death of the late Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Yusuf Sanei.

The deceased, who was one of the students and companions of Imam Khomeini (as) during the Islamic Revolution, also assumed judicial responsibilities after the Revolution, including the Attorney General of the country, and was the source of services in the judiciary.

I offer my condolences to the honorable family and his noble brother, and I pray for God’s forgiveness for them during the mourning days of the martyrs.
