Examining the amount of input, inventory and balance of files in the branches of the Culture and Media Department and paying attention to the statistics supervising the files of these branches in order to organize the category of statistics, registration and referral of judicial cases, as well as the type of relationship and relationship of the investigator with culture and media. It is worth mentioning that in order to prepare and compile accurate statistics related to judicial cases and also to establish a mechanism in order to prevent any statistics in judicial processes, the Chief of Justice has issued specific instructions to judicial officials, including the First Deputy of the Judiciary.

During the visit of Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Mohseni Ejei to Branch 4 of the Culture and Media Court, the stationed investigator explained the contents and details of one of the cases for which a restraining order had been issued; After hearing the provisions of the restraining order, the Chief Justice addressed specialized and practical recommendations to this investigator.

“Your actions and positions are defensible and fair, and we, who are considered critical media, welcome your approach in many cases,” was the statement made by the director of a well-known media outlet to the head of the judiciary; “The independence of the judiciary and your emphasis as the head of the judiciary on this is a very important issue,” he said, referring to the Culture and Media Court to follow up on his case.

The head of the judiciary also addressed this media official: “We are all obliged to follow the path of the law, and it should be noted that fair criticism is different from destruction.”

While visiting one of the sections of the Culture and Media Court, the Chief Justice asked the relevant official about the manner and mechanism of monitoring the content of publications in the press, news agencies, publications and cyberspace.

The head of the judiciary considered the up-to-date promotion of knowledge and awareness as one of the main requirements for judges and staff of the Culture and Media Court, noting that the nature and content of cultural and media work, which is constantly evolving, requires Also be equipped with the knowledge and awareness of the day.

In such cases, the judges of the Culture and Media Court should be more careful and rely more on consulting experts, experts and specialists.

Referring to the legal and social aspects of crimes such as spreading lies and insulting another, the head of the judiciary said: “Sometimes a person spreads lies against one person, and sometimes another person insults another, and by doing so, he breaks the ugliness of something in society.” And causes social and psychological harm to people.

Explaining the philosophy of the existence and presence of a jury in press and media crimes, the Judge said: “Some issues are specialized in the field of culture and media, so to handle cases in this field, use the opinions of experts and experts from different walks of life.” Is a necessity; Accordingly, in the process of litigation in the field of culture and media, the role of experts and technicians in different strata and classes and their assistance to judges in adapting cases to the subject of law is very prominent and important.

“Paying attention to the requirements of the time, conditions and documents available in the handling of cases” was another recommendation of the Chief Justice to the judges and staff of the Culture and Media Court; In this regard, the Judge noted that delays in processing cases lead to many harms and losses.
