Hamedan province has had a high position in terms of science, culture, history and tourism from the past to the present, the first capital of the first dynasty of the Iranian government and having three thousand years of historical and cultural antiquity. The fact is that in recent years, with good programs such as Hamedan, the tourism capital of Asia and hosting the World Tourism Summit and the Silk Road Conference and several other programs, Hamedan has been well introduced, but a good opportunity called Hamedan Day, which is September 1st. It is foreseen in the calendar and approved by the Public Culture Council. In the current situation and despite the Corona pandemic, holding cultural programs at the national and international levels is not very possible and has its own limitations, but in recent years it was expected that “Hamedan” day in Hamedan would not be limited and Hamedan beyond Introduce Hamedan and not just hold one or more programs and this issue has been raised many times in the media but has not been taken seriously.

Hamedan province has great potential in various fields, especially in the world, from grapes and garlic to pottery and handicrafts, and some special places such as Ali Sadr Cave, which is world famous, which can be introduced at the international level. And celebrities and… to mention that these capacities are multiplied and it is expected that as the tourism sector is one of the axes of development of the province, more attention will be paid.

Of course, in recent years, measures have been taken to discuss infrastructure and ecotourism, increase hotels and implement cultural programs, but the great tourism capacity of this country requires greater work to introduce Hamedan and develop the province’s tourism.

In any case, it seems that Hamedan Day should be an opportunity to introduce Hamedan and the existing capacities of the province at the national and international levels, and in the coming years, large programs should be prepared for this day by forming specialized committees, from the capacity of people’s organizations. Institution and most importantly the private sector should be used and Hamedan programs should be held in cultural provinces such as Isfahan, Shiraz, Tabriz and Hormozgan and special places such as Milad Tower and Qeshm and Kish Islands and other tourist areas and even airports and even internationally. With the cooperation of the embassies, programs for this important day have been considered and implemented so that we can witness the introduction of Hamedan more than before.
