According to Mehr reporter, Ahmad Vahidi, in a meeting with governors, mayors and Islamic heads of major cities in Isfahan province, stated that the work of municipalities and councils is important and the performance of this institution should be evaluated from the perspective of people’s satisfaction. Stating that many damages are caused in the margins, he pointed out: the issue of urban regeneration and social issues regarding marginalization should be considered and we expect the mayors to have a plan for marginalization.
The Minister of Interior emphasized the need to build trust in the administrative health in municipalities and added: There are income sources in municipalities and therefore it is very important that people feel that these resources are spent clearly and transparently in municipalities and rural districts.
Vahidi stated: Municipalities should be the place of people’s attention and trust, because transparency is an important way to build trust, and therefore, you should search and stop the bottlenecks of corruption.
He emphasized the need to speed up the provision of services such as the issuance of building permits and added: it is necessary to provide these services from the government unit system.
