According to Mehr news agency, Alihemt Mahmoudnejad, the advisor to the head of the country’s welfare organization on the affairs of the disabled, announced the holding of the 10th wedding ceremony of 114 couples with disabilities at the same time as Eid al-Adha and said: “This program is due to the efforts of the country’s welfare organization and the participation of the Association for the Defense of the Rights of the Disabled in Iran.” and Tehran Municipality is held in Milad Tower.

The adviser of the head of the country’s welfare organization on the affairs of the disabled continued: 114 couples with disabilities in the age range of 24 to 51 years are from different groups of vision, hearing, physical and movement, and mentally retarded with mild disabilities, who got to know each other through the consultations of the country’s welfare organization. to start their life together with minimum damage.

He stated that supporting the well-being of people with disabilities, realizing the social responsibility of Tehran Municipality and enlightening public opinion regarding the rights of disabled people are among the goals of holding this event and said: Our most important goal is to promote marriage, especially for disabled people. Because these people also have the right to live, and the government and all officials should help to prepare the marriage conditions of these people.

It is reminded; In this ceremony, an official marriage ceremony will be held live for a disabled couple in the presence of the head of the country’s welfare organization and the mayor of Tehran.
