According to Fars News Agency, quoting the management of communications and international affairs of Tehran and Suburbs Metro Operating Company; The overhaul project of the Tehran Metro Line 5 overhead network in the area of Karaj to Hashtgerd stations has started from January 13th, and according to the plan, train traffic will not be carried out in this area on Fridays, and as in the past, necessary coordination with the technical committee Alborz Governor’s Office, Bus Organization and Rahvar Police have been deployed to transport passengers.
It is worth mentioning that the first phase of overhaul of the overhead electricity network is ten kilometers long and starts every week at midnight on Thursday. Overhaul work of 5200 meters in the main route and additional overhaul measures in other sections and Mehrshahr terminal with a length of 1500 meters have been completed.
It is necessary to explain that on Friday, March 27, service will be provided on Tehran Metro Line 5 from Karaj station to Tehran (Sadeghieh) and vice versa according to the previous schedule and without any restrictions.
