Minister of Energy meets with Advisor to the Prime Minister of Armenia


According to Fars News Agency, quoting Ministry of Energy Information Center (Pawn)“Ali Akbar Mehrabian” in a meeting with “Artashes Tumanian”, Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, which was held in the building of the Ministry of Energy, referring to the excellent relations between the two countries, said: Basically, these relationships are increasing every day.

Mehrabian also introduced the country’s capability and stressed the need to prepare the conditions for the meeting between the President of Iran and the Prime Minister of Armenia.

Mehrabian also introduced the capabilities of Iranian companies active in the field of technical and engineering services and the scope of activities of these companies around the world, as well as construction and repair of power plants, construction of hydropower plants and other cases, suggested bilateral meetings to introduce capabilities and cooperation capacities of the two countries. The presence of economic activists of the two countries should be held and the ground for cooperation of economic activists should be provided more than before.

The two sides further emphasized the development of energy relations by removing obstacles to pave the way for increased interaction.

The meeting also stressed the need to coordinate the holding of the 17th Iran-Armenia Joint Cooperation Summit hosted by the Armenian side on May 4 and called the summit important for the development of relations between the two countries in the framework of energy.

Artashes Toumanian, Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, discussed important issues of bilateral cooperation, constructive decisions for the development of trade and economic cooperation, as well as in the field of energy with the Iranian Chairman of the Joint Cooperation Commission.
