Minister of Health: In December, immunization will be achieved in the majority of the society

According to the Fars News Agency Health Group, Bahram Ainollahi said about the immunization of the corona vaccine: “It should be noted that immunization is not achieved immediately after the injection of the corona vaccine.” Injecting the first dose of the vaccine provides about 50 to 60% immunity. After the second dose, we have to wait about three to four weeks for complete immunization.

He added: “Accordingly, it takes at least two months for the immunization to take place after the first dose of the corona vaccine is given.”

Ainollahi emphasized: Extensive general vaccination in the country started in September and October and now in November we are injecting the second dose. So we have not yet reached our goal. If we reach our goal, we expect immunization in the majority of society by early December.
