Minister of Interior: “Sixty Thirty” campaigns promote the native culture of each province


According to Fars News Agency and quoted by the Central Headquarters of Travel Services Coordination, Minister of Interior Ahmed Vahidi visited the Secretariat of the Central Headquarters of Travel Services Coordination this morning, Monday, March 29, 1401.

On the sidelines of this visit, a meeting was held with the presence of Ali Asghar Shalbafian, Vice President of Tourism and Head of the Central Travel Service Coordination Headquarters, and representatives from the Red Crescent Society, the Emergency Organization, the State Penalty Organization, the Endowment and Charity Organization, the Naja Highway Police and the Center for Tourism and Motoring in order to present a report and The best possible coordination was held in the Persian Gulf Hall of the Vice-Chancellor of Tourism.

General managers of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts of provinces and governors were also present in this meeting through video conference.

After the welcome speech by Seyed Mustafa Fatemi, Secretary of the Travel Service Coordination Headquarters, the governors of Fars, Yazd, Khuzestan, and Kermanshah presented reports.

The plan to increase the visiting hours of historical and cultural places, to organize and inform travelers in a special way, to coordinate with the monitoring agencies, to make special arrangements for the month of Ramadan, to launch campaigns and emergency shelters, the issue of hijab and chastity, to launch craft shops next to schools, to launch a campaign 60, the establishment of handicraft markets in the axes of tourist traffic, the holding of rituals and ceremonies in Nowruzgahs, the introduction of tourist tours focusing on lesser-known places, the travel companion campaign, the implementation of Quranic programs, the identification of accident-prone points, the assessment of vulnerable points and the necessary measures to reduce damage and introduce The points needed by tourists were among the most important ones.

Mohammad Asghari, the representative of the Meteorological Organization of the country, stated that we have the most atmospheric instability in this period of time and said: We must be cautious and even pessimistic about the systems. He raised road accidents as the most important issue and emphasized on paying attention to road safety and deploying sufficient forces in order to reduce accidents and casualties.

Vahidi pointed out the importance of setting up the “Sixty” campaigns and added: these campaigns in 30 kilometers from the entrance of the cities, in addition to reducing road accidents, will promote originality and local culture and introduce handicrafts of each province.

Adopting special measures for accident-prone areas and deploying teams in these areas to warn people were other points emphasized by the Minister of Interior.

Pointing to the weather changes and cold weather ahead, he added: Necessary measures should be taken for the upcoming rains and to prevent catastrophic floods so that we do not witness an incident similar to the tragic incident in Shiraz in 2018.

Crisis management activity in all provinces, warning and care for gas poisoning in tents, price control, active food distribution centers and maximum emergency activity were among the other points mentioned by the interior minister.

Referring to the sanctity of the month of Ramadan, Vahidi emphasized on the implementation of the instructions for observing chastity and hijab, as well as maintaining the affairs of the month of Ramadan.

Ali Sharifan, the representative of the country’s emergency organization, said about the status of this organization’s service delivery: With Mr. Shalbafian’s plan, we were ready for service since the middle of Sha’ban.

According to him, 3,200 bases, 52 helicopters, 88 buses and ambulances, as well as 5,700 ambulances are active for service.

Sharifan continued: 460 Nowruz stations have been launched, which has added 300 stations compared to last year.

He expressed hope that the number of injured will decrease with the measures taken.

Referring to the increase in the volume of trips, Sharifan continued: “The symmetry of spring and Ramadan has changed the movement pattern of travelers, and most of the movements are done after Iftar and Suhar, which should be taken into consideration.”

The use of heating devices due to the cold weather and also the issue of poisoning of travelers living in tents with CO2 was one of the most important points that Sharifan paid attention to.
