According to Mehr news agency, Seyyed Solat In a think-tank meeting with the members of the Social Commission of the Islamic Council, Mortazavi expressed appreciation for the special support of the Islamic Council in the implementation of the justice-oriented plans of the people’s government, and stated that the leadership of the Council helps to accelerate the delivery of services and the realization of the goals of the Islamic system.
Referring to the planning for the formation of thinking teams in the body of the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare, he added: Solving the challenge of funds and subsidiary companies cannot be achieved without the support of different levels of governance and the role of the parliament.
The Minister of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare considered the dependence of pension funds on government aid as one of the most important challenges of this ministry and said: Paying attention to the proper productivity of companies and the fact that some of them are unprofitable should be specially considered.
Mortazavi stated: Regarding the payment of claims of subsidiary funds and companies from different government departments, we should also consider a suitable mechanism.
Stating that the government’s commitments to create employment are being fulfilled, he said: the president’s emphasis and justice-oriented view on the government’s cooperation with all forces is one of the foundations of economic growth and improvement of the social situation in the country.
Mortazavi announced the full readiness of the Ministry of Labor to accompany the Parliament regarding the development of the 7th Development Plan in the social sphere and stated: “The pathology of the past plans and also paying attention to the principles of people’s governance in the economic spheres are important in this plan.”
He emphasized on strengthening the joint discourse with the legislature and the nation’s lawyers and the need for continuous accountability of the managers of this ministry to the parliament and said: We must turn all achievements and honors into social capital.
Mortazavi pointed to the formation of the Planning Council of the Ministry of Labor and added: attendance at the Social Commission is continuously followed to formulate plans and also to obtain advice from the people’s representatives.
“Mehdi Isazadeh”, the head of the Social Commission of the Islamic Council, also called Mortazavi’s like-mindedness and managerial experiences promising to solve the challenges of the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare and said: In the first special cooperation between this commission and the Ministry of Labor, the seventh development plan was developed in The social sphere is on the agenda.
He stated that the parliament is always concerned about the timely payment of pensioners’ salaries, and added: “The government should enter into the crisis of its bankrupt funds and companies.”
Emphasizing the youth community’s need for employment, Isisazadeh said: the Social Commission has rightful demands in the field of social issues and supports the government to implement promising programs on its agenda.
The head of the social commission of the parliament considered the special initiative of the minister of labor to create a platform for the continuous communication of the representatives with this ministry and said: creating social justice in the Islamic system is a common goal of all of us.
In this meeting, the members of the Social Commission of the Islamic Council and a group of fund managers and subordinate organizations of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare also expressed their views and suggestions for the development of social welfare and employment creation in the country.
