Morteza Poursamadi’s body rests in Sakineh heaven

According to Fars news agency, with the decision of Morteza Poursamadi’s surviving family and in coordination with Cinema House, the funeral ceremony of his body will be held tomorrow, Monday, September 13th at 9:30 AM at Cinema House No. 2 located on Vasal Street, and then the body of the deceased cinematographer of Iran Cinema It will be transferred to Behesht Sakineh in Karaj.

Last Saturday, 11th of Shahrivar, Poursamadi arrived at the location of the Gana Fereshte TV series group and was preparing to start a working day, but unfortunately, he experienced symptoms such as dizziness and fainting. According to the emergency doctors on the spot, he had a heart attack.

Zindayad Poursamadi is one of the most important cinematographers in Iranian cinema and has many films and documentaries in his career, such as “Gilane”, “Climate”, “Shabaneh”, “Identity”, “Like a Story”, “Green Fire”, “Paper Rocket”, “Snow Requiem”, “The Ringing Circle”, “His Girls Don’t Scream” and… are among the films of his career. He was also an international photographer and artist whose works had many audiences in the corners of the world, universities and artistic circles.

Colleagues, friends and students of Poursamadi in the “Angel’s Guilt” series express their condolences on the loss of this inimitable artist, first to his respected family and the artistic community, and then to all those who are interested in his works in different parts of the world.

It should be mentioned that Behesht Sakineh is located at kilometer 5 of Karaj-Qazvin highway, Kamal Shahr, Behesht Sakineh street, and Poursamadi tomb is located in Plot 32, Row 26, No. 108.
