Mojtaba Tavangar, chairman of the parliament’s Digital Economy Committee, reacted to remarks by Satra’s deputy that Rubika’s license had been revoked due to recent events, calling it fishing in muddy waters.

Yesterday, news about the creation of fake pages in the name of users, especially celebrities, was published in the Rubica application. Following the news and users’ criticism, Satra’s deputy said today that Rubika’s license had been revoked, but Rubika’s public relations department also announced that the super-social networking and messaging app was not iptv and had no license from Satra that Satra wanted to revoke. Slowly

Even now, Mojtaba Tavangar, chairman of the parliament’s digital economy committee, has reacted to Satra’s remarks. Tavangar tweeted:

Rubika has been severely criticized, especially for her recent actions; But regarding Satra’s illegal action: Rubika did not have any license from Satra that Satra wanted to revoke. Rubica is a social networking and messaging application, not iptv. Over the years, Satra has always tried to persuade the media, in addition to iptvs and VODs, to get permission from Satra, which none of the messengers, including Rubika, accepted.

According to Tavangar, Rubika only had a temporary license from Satra for its VOD episode for six months in 1397, which expired at that time and has never been renewed. In addition, Sada-e Azadi has had detailed negotiations with its operators for a stake in Rubika over the past year, which have not been concluded. In the end, the chairman of the parliament’s digital economy committee said that catching fish from muddy water does not beautify the government organization at all.
