This famous martyr, despite being accepted in the field of medicine at a prestigious university, has prioritized jihad on the right-against-wrong fronts and joined the ranks of fighters. Martyr Mehdi Zainuddin’s father was a fighter and political activist, so the martyr’s family was forced into exile and traveled to different cities every few years. According to his mother, Mehdi Zainuddin spent his kindergarten and elementary school years in Khorramabad, and from the very beginning, his family noticed his high intelligence. Martyr Zainuddin’s talent was such that he was able to learn the Qur’an as a child without a teacher.

During his adolescence, Aghamahdi met the martyr Ayatollah Madani, who had also been exiled to Khorramabad, and in his presence he learned the alphabet of fighting the Shah and became interested in political activities.

Martyr Zainuddin chooses mathematics in high school and studies in this field, but his high school years coincide with the establishment of the Resurrection Party by the order of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, and when the martyr does not register in this party, he leaves school. Will be fired. Because there is no other high school in Khorramabad that has a mathematics major, the martyr is forced to change majors and study experimentally.

After receiving his diploma, due to his high intelligence, he obtained the rank of four experimental entrance exams and was accepted in the medical field of Shiraz University, but dropped out of the university and worked in his father’s shop. Others say, “My father’s shop is a stronghold, and the Pahlavi regime exiles my father and wants his stronghold to remain empty, but I will not allow this stronghold of struggle to remain empty.”

After a period of increasing popular strikes against the Shah’s arrogant regime and the closure of shops, Mr. Mehdi’s father also closed their shops. This story makes Martyr Zainuddin think about studying again, so he corresponds with the University of Paris and is accepted.

Meanwhile, Imam Zayn al-Din was informed by Imam Khomeini (ra) about the continuation of the education of young people abroad, who said: “Return to Iran, because Iran needs young people like you” and refuses to go to Paris. .

With the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Aghamahdi was elected as the head of intelligence of the Qom Corps, and later various responsibilities and positions were assigned to him, and finally he was elected as the commander of the 17th Division of Ali Bonabi’s Talib. The conflict with the counter-revolution was martyred on the 27th of Aban, 1363.
