Naeem Qasim: Hezbollah has formed a working group to prepare for the elections

Regarding the parliamentary elections in the country, Qasim stressed that Hezbollah is doing its best to hold the elections on time and has formed a working group to prepare for the elections.

Regarding the claims of some political groups that Hezbollah opposes the elections, he said: “Why such a conclusion? All our statements and actions are in line with the elections. “They say Hezbollah does not want elections.”

The Hezbollah official concluded: “They say this; Because they take into account that in the next election, the results may not be what they expect … They are accusing us of not being right. We want elections; “Because we want the nation to once again state its position and say after the current crisis who it wants to work with and who will represent it?”

Early parliamentary elections with the approval of the Lebanese representatives are scheduled for March 27, 2022 (April 7, 1401). The Lebanese system is parliamentary, and the prime minister and the president emerge from the heart of this parliament, which is why holding parliamentary elections in this country is of special importance, which is held every four years.
