National housing units are 3 times of Mehr housing units – Tejaratnews

According to Tejarat News, Arslan Maliki stated on Thursday, July 15th at the meeting of the National Housing Movement in Central Province: We have used almost all the methods and capacities mentioned in the law to implement the National Housing Movement. In the housing plans that came after the revolution, the national movement is more mature than all the plans because it has benefited from more legal capacities.
The Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development emphasized on the use of the capacity of Article 10 for housing their personnel and stated: In this plan, the excess land capacity of all the units has been used. Mustafafan Foundation, Azad University and armed forces have allocated a lot of land to this plan in different cities.
The CEO of the National Land and Housing Organization of the country stated: 590,000 units of Mehr housing were defined in total, but now in the national housing plan, we have defined more than 1,500,000 units, which is three times the number of Mehr housing. In the past one year, we have annexed lands as much as in the past 10 to 15 years. In the discussion of implementation, we used different capacities and methods, including participation in construction, handing over land to the people, and using the capacity of institutions such as Khatam camp and Farman Imam’s executive headquarters, whose efforts are commendable.
Stating that the national housing plan is a flexible plan and has a new idea for construction, he said: “We don’t remember anywhere in Mehr housing that the government itself executes the preparation contract, but this has happened in national housing.” A lot of efforts have been made for the additions, which deserves appreciation for all the efforts of this project. We have set aside 2 thousand billion tomans for water, electricity and gas of the National Housing Movement.
Regarding the national housing projects of the central province, Maliki said: “Put more energy into critical cities such as Dilijan, Khomein, and Mamounieh and work specifically for these cities.” Also, don’t neglect the issue of land transfer in villages. In the case of Article 10, determine the assignment of the assigned lands and specify the surplus lands that are not used as soon as possible.
Emphasizing the use of land of foundations and institutions, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development stated: We have more than 90 thousand married applicants without housing in Central Province. Put all your focus on solving their problem. In relation to the preparation, wherever you need a permit, please refer to us so that we can follow up and solve it in Tehran.
Referring to the provision of land for industrial workers, Maliki said: housing for workers is one of our priorities, and we are investigating the provision of housing for more than 140,000 families in the country, which will be determined in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, there has been insufficient work in Arak regarding workers’ housing. In Warzghan, Tabriz, we considered and delivered a settlement for Songun copper workers. In order to cooperate in this direction, industries can also help us in construction management.
Emphasizing that we should not neglect the construction of villa settlements, he said: many people are looking for a place with good weather to build houses in the form of villas, and the capacity of villa settlements should be used in the central province, just like in all big cities.
Referring to the government’s commitment to build 4 million housing units, Maliki stated: The government’s commitment to produce 4 million housing units is also in the production, fabric, self-ownership and government land sectors. In order to provide land, more than 32,000 hectares of land from the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development have been provided to the project and a part of it has been handed over to the people, who must do the construction work, and the work of some projects such as Arak has started.
Hamid Enami, Director General of Roads and Urban Development of Central Province also stated: The most important problem we have in the province is the 8,100-unit Arak project, for which we have done most of the preparations, but we need help in meeting its costs. The cost of Saveh units is also high, so we need help.
Referring to the consideration of the worker housing plan in the cities of Arak, Saveh and Mamounieh, he said: the managers of Arak industries have announced their readiness to help in this plan. We can prepare 10,000 villas for workers. Next to Kaveh industrial town, we also considered land for worker housing. We are also working on the issue of Naraq resort town.
The General Director of Roads and Urban Development of the Central Province stated: Every week we had a housing camp under the chairmanship of the Provincial Civil Affairs Deputy, and every two weeks we hold the Provincial Housing Council under the chairmanship of the Central Governor. Regarding the housing of Azad University, we have also considered the three cities of Naraq, Saveh and Arak. In this meeting, the land issues and problems of the National Housing Plan in all the cities of Central Province were examined and addressed.
