“Nau Vincennes”; Review of the US military’s hostile action against the Iranian passenger plane + film

According to Fars News Agency’s Radio and TV reporter, the attack of the American aircraft carrier “Vincens” on July 12, 2017, on the Airbus plane of the Islamic Republic of Iran, resulted in the martyrdom of 290 of the passengers of this passenger plane, including 66 children under 12 years of age. But the United States government considered this event as an incident, refused to apologize to the Iranian nation, and even showed courage to the commander of the Vincennes.

After this incident, the American authorities tried to justify this crime by considering this hostile act as a mistake. However, due to the fact that the Vincennes warship is equipped with the most advanced radar and computer systems and the type of aircraft in flight is known, it is clear that there was no possibility of a mistake and that this action was intentional.

Coinciding with the anniversary of this crime, the documentary “Now Vincennes” directed by Jaber Motahrizadeh and produced by Mehdi Motaher describes aspects of this story. This work deals with the story of the destruction of an Iranian passenger plane by an American ship in the waters of the Persian Gulf from the words of the US Navy.
