Pointing out that the share of cooperatives in the country’s economy should reach 25 percent according to the law, he added: Currently, this share is between five and eight percent, but of course we have to do a lot to achieve the goals of this sector.
Dehghani stated: In the provincial sector, it is not possible to provide statistics on the share of the cooperative sector in the economy of West Azerbaijan, because the responsible institutions must provide the share of cooperatives in their respective sectors in order to make a summary.
The General Director of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare of West Azerbaijan continued: In the cooperative sector, good measures have been taken, among them the exportation by the activists of this sector, which reached 54 million dollars last year.
He added: In order to pay attention to the cooperative sector in West Azerbaijan, the case of 32 problematic cooperatives was investigated, 12 of which have been activated.

Dehghani stated that for the first time in the field of labor relations, night inspections were launched in West Azarbaijan in the past months, stating that 65 cases of night inspections have been conducted in the province.
