New decisions of Tehran Municipality Corona Crisis Management Headquarters

According to the Fars News Agency’s urban correspondent, the emergency meeting of the Tehran Municipality Corona Crisis Management Headquarters was held in the presence of member organizations and institutions of this headquarters in the hall of the Tehran City Command Center. In this meeting, the need for 100% vaccination of municipal employees, the need to use masks in the workplace, prevent people with symptoms from entering the workplace and follow up the quarantine of employees with symptoms was discussed by the highest official.

Esmaeil Salimi, Acting Deputy of Prevention and Risk Reduction of Tehran Crisis Management Organization, emphasized on preparing instructions and executive mechanism for utilizing the capacity of the neighborhood emergency response volunteer forces, which are called sustainability as stability in assisting the vaccination of citizens.
In this meeting, it was also decided to form a working group with the focus on the planning department of the headquarters and the membership of representatives of Shahr Salem Company, General Department of Health and Deputy of Regional Affairs and executive instructions on observing health protocols and physical distance in places affiliated to Tehran Municipality. Includes detailed descriptions of staff entry and exit, traffic restrictions, client control, staff screening, closure, and other related matters.
It was also decided to close the important crowded places under the control of Tehran Municipality, including indoor sports halls, cultural centers, public sector and neighborhood halls, from the time the instructions were issued.

Take necessary measures to prevent large crowds of citizens and observe physical distance in citizen shops and fruit and vegetable squares and other similar centers and re-examine the feasibility of telecommuting or facilitate staff leave according to upstream documents.
