No bakery is closed! – Online economy

According to the online report, quoted by Mehr, Amir Karmelo said in an interview with Radio Ekhtaz: In the past months, the discussion of deducting the quota of bakeries on the pretext of improper performance in the new bread system and the type of flour allocation was the subject of complaints by some bakers, which was found with the investigations conducted. We have found that the system provides incorrect information to the trustees of flour and bread.

He added: After coordination with the Tehran Chamber of Guilds and the coordination of the head of the union and the board of directors of the traditional bakers union of Tehran, meetings were held and a 10-member committee was appointed to follow up on the complaints.

The head of the Inspection Commission of the Traditional Bakers Union of Tehran stated: Unfortunately, with the wrong information that the system provides to the trustees, it has created restrictions for bakers’ flour, which has a negative effect on the received quota and their records.

Referring to the initial interview of the adviser to the Minister of Economy regarding the free purchase of bread by bakers, Karmelo noted: It was decided that flour would be purchased by bakers at a free rate and bread would be made available to the people, and the government would pay the difference in price to the baker’s account, but Today, we again faced the burden of rent and the assignment of duties that were the responsibility of the government according to Article 5 of the Subsidy Targeting Law.

He expressed his hope that the government would fix the current situation in this field by providing subsidies to the people at the end of the chain.
